Backyard Stories is an Australian storytelling event that began in 2019 under a leaky marquee in our Carlton sharehouse backyard. Each event centres around a single word - the theme for the night - and features a curated line-up of storytellers who write and then read a story. The show is recorded live for the Backyard Stories podcast, creating an archive of funny, moving and unforgettable tales.

There have been iterations in New York, Amsterdam and London, and features in the Festival Club line up every year at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. And now we're thrilled to be back in London and at Off Broadway. 5 storytellers, 5 stories.
