BAD HOAX + STOCKER (Bris) live at The Dock, Redfern

Cupholder Industries and The Dock present The Sunday Wash-Up, our weekly program of our favourite local emerging acts.

BAD HOAX hit our ears earlier this year with their uniquely spooky synth-pop, nabbing a spot on the second edition of SydneyMusic.net's Monthly Mixtape as curated by Cupholder's very own Caitlin Welsh. It's an amalgam of murky snarling bass, hypnotic kicks, and an intensity that's immediately arresting.

Meanwhile STOCKER is down from Brisbane with her expansively lush pop music, playing a special bonus set after headlining the launch party for Reason Why Management Thursday.

Chuck in a couple of DJ sets from the Cupholder team and friends, and the party will be buzzing til midnight. Yes, on a Sunday.
