Love Crime Fiction? Join us for an author panel to hear and discuss all things crime writing!
Featuring celebrated crime author, Lisa Kenway, the event will include readings from the 2024 anthology, ‘Bad: The Second Case’, an author discussion, and time to ask your burning questions. Books will be available for purchase and signing. This panel also includes a talented lineup of writers: KT Major, Anna Walsh and Zohra Aly.

About the authors
KT Major is a Singapore-born writer based in Dharawal Country, known for her crime and literary fiction as well as essays on Asian-Australian perspectives. Her accolades include winning the 2022 Peter Cowan Short Story Competition, the 2023 Sutherland Shire Literary Competition Resident’s Prize, and the 2024 Everymind Award in the Grieve Project, with works featured in numerous anthologies and journals.
Lisa Kenway, a writer and anaesthetist from NSW's Central Coast, explores themes of memory and consciousness in her debut psychological thriller, 'All You Took From Me'. Her work has earned recognition, including a 2023 fellowship from the Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers’ Centre and publication in Island Online, the Meanjin blog, and Meniscus Literary Journal.
Anna Walsh, an emerging author and language enthusiast living on Gadigal land, writes fiction exploring human connections, often with a crime twist. Originally from Liverpool, she has lived in multiple countries and is currently part of the 2024 WestWords Academy, with work featured in BAD Western Sydney: The Second Case.
Zohra Aly, based in Sydney on Dharug land, is a writer with a background in hospital pharmacy and an MA in Creative Writing from UTS. Her work has appeared in publications like Sydney Review of Books, Meanjin, and Island, and she has contributed to literary festivals, including the Boundless Festival and the Australian Muslim Writers Festival.
