BMA hit the highway and pull up to Dissent Cafe & Bar on the afternoon of Saturday 7 March for a set of melodic, melancholy stylings. Very special guest opener is Tom Woodward.

Baker, Mellonie & Adams (BMA) Jeffrey Baker (The Golden Rail - Cheersquad Records) brings his highly original and adventurous chord voicings and heartfelt lyrical observations to an acoustic setting. Ben Mellonie (Ten Gallon Head / Ashley Naylor) is a verse-chorus-middle-eight tragic, whose parallel penchant for improvised country-tinged lead breaks is also given some heavy spotlight. Mark Adams (Cold Irons Bound) is the not-so-secret weapon, whose clear soulful voice and compelling arpeggio-based songs bring some much-desired sheets of jangle to the Baker, Mellonie & Adams canon. Their plaintive debut single, Apart Again, is out now

Tom Woodward is a folksinger, guitar picker and writer of strange but compelling songs. He has spent two decades performing to audiences across Australia, Japan and the USA. His acclaimed album, Revolving Doors was released in mid 2024 and his latest, Come Come Karma has just arrived.
