Black Dog Ride's iconic annual 1 Dayer aims to start a national conversation about depression and suicide prevention. Help us get the country talking and join your local 1 Dayer on 17th March 2024.
8 Australians take their lives every single day, that's one Aussie every 3 hours losing their life to the black dog.
On the third Sunday of March, Black Dog Ride is uniting under one banner with one voice on one single day to amplify a national message of hope, awareness and prevention. Let's get the conversation started, register for the Black Dog Ride 1 Dayer 2024 today!

Ride Registration:
By registering, you will also receive your rider kit upon check-in on the day at the ride, which includes:
- 1 Dayer patch
- Round 1 Dayer 2024 participation bike sticker
- 'Black Dog Rider' bike sticker
Please Note: Online ticket sales for this event will close at 8.00am 17th March 2024
Ride Itinerary:
Check in & Registrations from 8.00am – 9.30 am at Bunnings Safety Bay Road Baldivis. Free sausage sizzle, & coffee, cool drink or water for the first 200 checked in.
Stands up at 10.00am sharp, arriving at Dwellingup Primary School at 12.30pm for lunch & the raffle draw.
Route: a cruisey ride through the back roads around Pinjarra & Coolup, before a short toilet break & leg stretch in the Peel district, then out through Waroona before parking on the Dwellingup School oval. Lunch available to buy at the school.
This year we will be avoiding the freeway & highways as much as possible & encourage riders to take the time to enjoy the ride & admire the scenery.
Ride Preparation
It is imperative that riders ensure their bike is registered, roadworthy, and in proper working order, ready for the significant distance ride ahead. It is also imperative that riders and pillion passengers are fit and well enough for the journey. Black Dog Ride does not take responsibility for these matters.
