"Balkan Express" delivers a high-octane fusion of Balkan Gypsy music with an eclectic mix of styles, including jazz, hip-hop, funk, world, Latin, Indo-Korean, Psychedelic Rock, and Drum 'n' Bass. The ensemble showcases dazzling technique and wide-ranging improvisation, led by Tony Mite on accordion. Vocals by Ms. Onur Kurt and George Atanasov add soulful energy, while Muharem Suleyman’s saxophone, Sash Stojcevski 'Hippy' on drums, Pece Josevski 'Jimako' on percussion, Azem Jeka on keyboards, and Troy Gennoe on bass create a rich and dynamic soundscape.
