Event description

Ballantynes Breakfast Club is thrilled to be back on our events calendar!

On Thursday 16th June, 2022 our CEO, Maria O’Halloran, will interview two inspiring women in business – sisters Sophie Gilmour and Mimi Gilmour Buckley.

Sophie is a business-owner, consultant, cook and ex-lawyer who loves all things hospitality. Sophie currently splits her time at work between her three Middle Eastern restaurants Fatimas, her hospitality consultancy, Delicious Business and her co-working and events space in 'The Village'. Sophie is involved in various food charities and Chairs the Board of Company Of Women, an organisation that empowers and equips female entrepreneurs with the tools they need to succeed.

With hospitality also in her blood, Mimi has created and run multiple restaurants. She now spends her days overseeing her Burger Burger business (with no less than six locations); her creative agency, MATES Agency Ltd, and her soon-to-launch business, IAMMI. Passionate as she is about business, nothing is as important to Mimi as being a mother to her two beautiful daughters, Olympia and Octavia. Mimi’s daughter Olympia was born with special needs and Mimi has become an advocate for Olympia, families like their own and Starship Children's Hospital. IAMMI was born from her experience with Olympia; the business aims to empower women to feel confident and capable through a 5 minute daily practice.

Our Breakfast Club will be “COVID-19” Orange setting friendly, with guests sitting in their own “bubbles”.

Your menu for the day is:-

House made granola
coconut yoghurt, berry compote
*
Breakfast plate:
Poached egg, hot smoked salmon, avocado, oven roasted tomato, hashbrown, romesco sauce
