BallaRatCat Comedy in the Chapel - July

BallaRatCat Comedy has been serving up laughs in Ballarat since 2013.

This year BallaRatCat has a new home in an old church, delivering big name comedians with a great atmosphere, high ceilings, and a large organ. 

Friday 3 July we'll be featuring comedians:

Michael Connell (Australia's Got Talent)

Tarsh Jago (Deadly Funny, Comedy Zone)

James Coburn (@humantabasco)

Takashi Wakasugi (Comedy Festival Gala,  Thank God You're Here,  Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont-Spelling Bee)

And a special local guest spot.

Get your spot booked early for this one. It is not to be missed.

So far in 2026 we've had Firdi Billimoria, Freddie Arthur, Urvi Majumdar, Lehmo, Nicky Barry, Sam Zito, Ben Richardson, Kirsty Webeck, Robin Reynolds, Chris Nguyen and Tom Ballard.

• Tickets are general admission and seating is on pews. Feel free to bring a cushion!

• Drinks and snacks are available to purchase.

• Doors open: 7:30pm. Show run-time: 90 - 120 minutes including an interval.

• Suitable for ages 15+. Audience members under the age of 18 may attend if they are in the company of a responsible adult. Content includes adult themes and language.

• Venue entrance is on Macarthur Street.

• Accessible entrance is on Neill St. Please contact us if you have any specific access requirements.

• There is plenty of free street parking around the venue - we are in a residential area, so please be mindful of our neighbours: Keep driveways clear and please keep noise to a minimum.

• The nearest bus stop is around the corner on Lydiard St, routes 10 or 13.
