About Andy Vidler.

Andy's initial exposure to business started at the age of 23, when he started operating his own suburban newsagency. The 3am starts and the onset of a then new thing named the 'World Wide Web' made him reconsider a lifelong career as a newsagent, and sparked an ongoing interest in the contrast between 'sunset' and 'sunrise' industries. He has since gone on to gain experience in a variety of sectors, including finance, investment banking, public sector, technology firms and professional services.

Andy has a strong interest in the transformative nature of technology on business. He currently has interests in several businesses (management consulting, advanced manufacturing, IT services and education, cryptocurrency) as well as being co-founder of the Ballina Innovation and Knowledge Initiative (BIKI) focused on economic development in the Northern Rivers.
