Community CPR Training
Event description
Ballina-on-Richmond Rotary is offering free CPR training to the first 20 interested community members.
For every minute without CPR, survival from a cardiac arrest decreases by 10%.
Sponsored by The Rotary Foundation, Ballina RSL and Ballina on Richmond Rotary, and conducted by Revive Training (Northern Rivers), this course will provide each participant with CPR accreditation [HLTAID009].
Following the CPR training, there will be a brief introduction to our Rotary GoodSAM project.
Ballina-on-Richmond Rotary, along with other Rotary Clubs in our region, are advocating on behalf of NSW Ambulance to encourage more community members to consider becoming 'GoodSAM Responders'. The more people who can assist - the higher the survival rate from Cardiac Arrest.
To take up our free CPR training offer, please register online. Additional Enrolment information will then be emailed to you.
Should you have any questions before the event, please do not hesitate to contact Rob Coote on 0417139884 or via email at treasurer@rotaryclubofballinaonrichmond.org.au
Should places be filled quickly, Ballina-on-Richmond Rotary will offer further training opportunities for community members in October 2025 and again in early 2026; details will follow after this event.
