School’s Out for Summer

Beyond The Bell runs screen-free school holiday camps in Balmain for kids aged 5–12, designed to get children outdoors, moving, exploring and connecting with friends.

Join us at Balmain Scout Hall from 4–6 January and 26–28 January 2027 for active summer days filled with outdoor games, team challenges, local adventures, ferry trips and plenty of fresh-air play.

Our Balmain school holiday camps make the most of Mort Bay, Birchgrove, Balmain foreshore, local parks and Sydney Harbour. With the ferry wharf right nearby, the Scout Hall is also a brilliant base for Out + About adventures across Sydney.

Depending on the day, kids might be tackling Beyond The Bell Bingo, heading out on a scavenger hunt, playing team games, exploring the local area, catching a ferry or joining one of our bigger summer adventures.

Each day combines structured activities with free play, problem-solving, movement and time with friends.

Kids are supported by qualified educators, with small groups, strong staff ratios and a focus on confidence, independence, inclusion and teamwork.

Beyond The Bell Balmain is more than holiday care. It’s an active, screen-free summer school holiday program where kids can get outside, try new things, make friends and explore some of the best outdoor spaces in Sydney’s Inner West.
