Join Perth Slam's 2023 Grand Slam Champion, Scott-Patrick Mitchell, for a fun slam poetry workshop over a dumplings lunch.

Forget everything you think you know about poetry, this is a high energy artform that combines awe, humour and honesty into a two minute poem.

This workshop will cover the basics of slam poetry, from rhythm to how to surprise your audience with clever word play. There will also be hints and tips for performing your work, perfect for anyone who struggles with public speaking. All while enjoying complimentary dumplings from Perth's favourite dumpling restaurant, Bam Bam Boo.
