🌟 Frequently Asked Questions
🛳️ Is the boat wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Our new boat is fully accessible for people with mobility needs, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience safely and comfortably.
📏 Will my wheelchair fit on the ramp?
The access ramp is 750mm wide. We’ve had a variety of manual and electric wheelchairs on board successfully, but it’s always a good idea to double-check your wheelchair’s measurements.
👯‍♂️ Can I bring more than one person?
Due to limited space and to keep things fair (since it’s a free event), please book for yourself and one additional person only. Thanks for helping us share the experience with as many people as possible!
🌧️ What happens if the weather is bad?
Your safety is our top priority. If the weather isn’t suitable, we may have to cancel the trip. We’ll monitor conditions and notify you as early as possible if plans change.
⏰ What if I’m running late?
Please let us know ASAP if you’re running late. However, as trips are tightly scheduled and others may be waiting, we’re unable to delay departures. We recommend arriving a little early so you don’t miss out!
đź‘’ What should I wear?
Think comfortable and sun-smart! Light clothing, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses will help you enjoy the time on the water. 🌞
🤝 Can I bring a support worker or carer?
Absolutely! Booking one ticket allows you to bring a carer, support worker or family member as your plus one. 🧡
đź“… Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, please! Spaces are limited and fill up quickly, so advance booking is essential to secure your spot.
đź’¸ Is there a cost?
Nope! It’s completely free. These 30-minute trips are part of our mission to promote accessibility and inclusion.
đźš˝ Is there a toilet on board?
Yes—but the onboard toilet is not wheelchair accessible. However, there is a fully accessible toilet at the boat ramp available at any time.
🥤 Is food provided?
No food is provided, but you're welcome to bring along light snacks or water. Since it’s a short trip, you likely won’t need much—unless you're a legendary snack planner, in which case... pack wisely.
🎟️ How many tickets can I book?
You can book one ticket, which covers you + one guest (carer, family member, or support worker).
Please don’t book multiple or back-to-back time slots—we’ll cancel extra bookings to make sure everyone gets a fair go.
