Enabling EDIE (Educational Dementia Immersive Experience) is an immersive workshop that enables you to see the world through the eyes of a person living with dementia. Using our virtual reality technology, this workshop enhances knowledge of dementia while exploring strategies to support a person with dementia to live more confidently.

You will gain knowledge in:

  • The perspective of someone living with dementia.
  • Identifying support needs in partnership with the client and their carer.
  • Developing a dementia support plan that focuses on enabling a person living with dementia.

Suitable for:

Staff in various care settings providing support to people living with dementia. This training is only open to registered participants of the Home Care Workforce Support Program and/or Home Care Provider management staff.
