Banner Making Masterclass for BEFORE THERE'S NOTHING LEFT
Description
Join us for a free banner making masterclass in conjunction with "BEFORE THERE'S NOTHING LEFT": an exhibition by Virginia Ferguson and Haven Hickford at MEANWHILE gallery (2/99 Willis Street, Te Aro, Wellington).
This workshop will be run by Haven, a graphic designer with banner-making, large scale, and protest media design expertise. Its purpose is to teach participants how to boost the effect of protests/actions they're involved in through design. Haven will outline how to appropriate mainstream graphic design tactics for activist use and how to successfully design and create hand painted, stencilled, and professionally printed banners.
Materials will be provided. but feel free to bring your own!
