Yes. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
- Who is this workshop for?
Anyone who wants to work in Perth’s bar and hospitality scene, especially newcomers to Australia such as working holiday makers and international students. It’s also great if you have some experience and want to refresh your skills and resume.
- Do I need bar experience?
No. The workshop is designed for beginners. If you’ve worked in hospitality before, you’ll still benefit from the resume review, the video resume and meeting industry professionals.

- Is there a minimum age?
You must be 18 or over to attend.
- When do I get access to the online course?
You’ll receive your login on the day of the workshop.
- How does the resume review work?
After booking, email your current resume to info@australianjobready.com or bring it with you on the day. If you are not ready to share, that's ok, this is completely optional.
- What is a live video resume?
It’s a short video introduction, about 60–90 seconds, where you talk about yourself, your experience and your availability. It’s recorded at a time that suits you. It helps employers get a feel for your personality before an interview. We’ll only share your video with employers if you give us permission
- What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, a copy of your resume and photo ID.
- Can I book before I arrive in Australia?
Yes. You can book and start the online course from anywhere (we will send you a link) then join the workshop once you’re in Perth. If you plan to work, check that your visa allows it.
