Description

We invite you to come along to Baramada Blakout Day and spend time with us in culture, community and conversation.

Enjoy a program that includes a cultural ceremony, a special children's book reading (a story appropriate for the child in all of us) and an in-conversation with special guest Daniel Browning, followed by a facilitated yarn with Daniel and Darug mob.

Together, we'll yarn about community life, cultural initiatives, storytelling, and caring for Country, sharing some of the knowledge, experiences and connections that continue to shape Darug community today.

Come along, listen, learn and share in a community offering from Darug people on Baramadagal Country.

You may often hear this land and its Traditional Custodians acknowledged, this is an opportunity to go a little further: to learn about the land, hear from its people, and connect with the stories, knowledge and living culture that continue here.
