Event description

Baranduda Land Care’s Annual Community National Planet Ark Tree Planting Day is on again.

This year we will continue revegetation work on the Middle Creek Reserve following further extensive control of woody weed infestations.

Follow the signs on Boyes Rd near the Burgess Lane intersection.

Approximately 1000 native trees, shrubs and grasses will be planted and protected by the addition of stakes and guards.

Our traditional post-planting free BBQ will follow on-site at 12.45pm.  

In order for us to cater accordingly please 'get ticket's for each person attending (kids welcome & encouraged to attend).

  • Higher clearance 2WD especially AWD or better still 4WD preferred 
  • Car pool where appropriate/possible

BYO

  • sturdy footwear, warm clothes and gloves, and your favorite planting tool.

We’ll be planting even if raining!

Portable toilet will be on site.

    What Covid-19 Restrictions Apply?

    1. Advice and guidelines are changing rapidly - stay up to date
    2. Regularly wash your hands, keeping at least 1.5 metres from other people, and stay home if you feel unwell
    3. Wear a mask

    What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

    • Follow signs off Boyes Rd & Baranduda Boulevard (refer to map). Park as directed – based on how wet conditions are on the day. Where possible bring 4WD in the zone on the map or higher clearance vehicles (low clearance 2WD OK to park at the property entrance gate as marked on the map) -

    What do I need to bring to the event?

    • BYO: sturdy footwear, warm clothes and gloves, snacks and drinks as well as your favorite planting tool.
    • The traditional post-planting free BBQ will be available - let us know dietary requirements at registration
    • We will provide mini mattocks, mallets & other tools for community use on the day.
    • We'll plant, stake and guard over 1000 native seedlings on the two day
