Dance to inspire, dance to freedom, dance to transcend, it truly is a threshold. For the first time, BARBA takes over one of Sydney's few queer owned SOP venues. More than a takeover, it’s a celebration of queer spaces, and the communities that keep them alive.
Our d.floor has always been a meeting place, and the world constantly reminds us why we still need to come together. Leading the soundtrack is LIZZ, the Chilean DJ, producer and pioneer of the NEOPERREO movement, whose underground born sound has grown into a global cultural force. LIZZ represents a new generation of Latin post internet artists who create without boundaries, blending genres, cultures, and influences into something entirely their own.
Join BARBA at TROUGHX in Gadigal Land for underground music, queer culture, and radical self-expression .
“It is against this God who kills that we are fighting and resisting.”
