BARBIE Nepal Movie Fundraiser!
From 18th November to 12th December, we (20 passionate Flinders University students) have the incredible opportunity to embark on a life-changing journey to Nepal as part of the Australian Government Department for Foreign Affairs' New Colombo Plan Program. Our mission is to contribute to the local community of Tashiling by supporting and teaching English at the local school while immersing ourselves in the rich culture of Nepal.
As we prepare for this adventure, we aim to make a positive impact on the local school and community by providing essential resources and funding local projects. To achieve this goal, we are attempting to raise $5,000 before our departure. One of the ways we are planning to raise funds is through an exciting movie night!
Every ticket purchased has 1 x entry into a sensational raffle. Prizes are the likes of an escape room gift voucher valued at $150 from ESC Rooms, Heaps Good Gin, Bird in Hand wines, cut and blow dry valued at $100 from Madame Josephine and much much more! Additional raffle tickets may also be purchased with cash on the door!
Dress in your best BARBIE kit - go wild! Best dressed will be awarded a prize on the night.
Our friends from Heaps Good Gin will be doing free gin tastings on the night and offering discounts for online bottle sales!
