Barcode Tattoo is dedicated to parkrunners universally and to Coburg parkrun in particular. It celebrates the extraordinary phenomenon of parkrun like no other book.

In prose and poetry, it takes readers on a lilting, amusing, and sometimes poignant journey through an event loved by millions. Barcode Tattoo covers parkrun’s formation and global growth, its joyful volunteers and tourists, stories of sorrow and redemption, the impact of COVID, and parkrun’s bright international future.

Bonus

Sandy McDonald, author of the children’s middle-grade novel, Min Barklin and the Silver Radiants, will launch the second book of her trilogy at the same event.

Min Barklin: Stardust and Tears continues the magical adventures of Min, a minute, tree-dwelling, winged lumin. She is on a quest with her fellow lumins not only to save a sacred forest from destruction, but to preserve a global ecosystem from ruthless exploitation.
