About the Conference

This two‑day professional development conference strengthens workforce capability to deliver safe, high‑quality, evidence‑based and person‑centred bariatric care across SA Health.

Hosted by the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network—servicing Flinders Medical Centre, Noarlunga Health Service and the Repatriation Health Precinct—the program promotes compassionate, dignified practice, workforce safety and clinical excellence. Through interdisciplinary learning and shared approaches to care, the conference supports consistent, integrated bariatric care and sustainable improvements in patient outcomes and staff wellbeing.
