• Is there parking at the venue?

  There is no onsite parking, however there is plenty of street parking around Tākina and across the road at Te Papa.

• Can children attend the dinner?

  No, this is a formal dinner for people aged 18yrs +

• What entertainment will there be at the event?

  We are working on an excellent line up of performers to entertain you throughout the evening:

  Arohanui Strings
  Jackson Cordery
  Laura Oakley
  Ella Williams and Stela Dara
  The Relatives

• I would like to donate an item or service for the auction, how do I do this?

  We are actively looking to secure items for both the silent and live auctions. Please get in touch with the Barnardos team, we would love to hear from you.

• I don't know my guests names or dietary requirements yet?

  Not to worry, there is time - you can log back in to your Humanitix account once you have all your guests confirmed to update details.

  All dietary requirements will be required by Friday 12 June.

  Names for tables of ten are required by Wednesday 24 June.

• I want to buy individual tickets but sit at a table with friends/family who are also purchasing tickets.

  No problem, when you are purchasing your ticket there is a space at checkout for you to list who you want to sit with, and we will ensure you are seated together.

  Note there is a maximum limit of 10 guests per table. If you have less than 10 guests there may be others seated with you.

• Why do I need to add attendee names?

  Please enter the full name for each ticket by Wednesday 24 June. Individual names are used to create the seating plan and attendee check‑in on the day.

  If names aren’t provided, guests may experience delays or confusion when arriving at the event.

• How do I let you know about my food allergy?

  Please log in to your Humanitix account before Friday 12 June and add this to your ticket information.

  Please note that this does not cover preferences.

  While our commercial kitchen takes every precaution to minimize cross-contamination, please note that we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. For guests with severe or life-threatening allergies, we regretfully cannot prepare meals on-site. If you have any concerns or specific dietary needs, please let us know — we’ll do our best to find a suitable solution.
