Baroque Ball: An evening of glittering splendour
Event description
You are invited to enjoy an evening of glittering splendour. The evening promises joyful dancing, beautiful music, cheeky card games, and refreshments.
The ball is themed baroque era, costumes of this era encouraged but absolutely not required. Anything glittering, shining and perhaps historically inspired.
The Muffat Collective will be our wonderful musicians for the evening.
Guests are invited to arrive from 7:00pm
Dancing commences 7:15pm
Supper break 8:15pm
Dancing recommences 8:45pm
Evening concludes 10:00pm
Dance program to be released soon - dance games, French contredanse and dance displays to be dispersed throughout.
Card tables will be set up for when you need a break and a chat.
A ball is so much more fun when you are familiar with the dances so please come along to the Ball preparation session on Monday 26th June 7-8:30pm also at St Anne's Anglican Church Hall, Strathfield.
A ball is for everyone to enjoy no matter your dance experience, it is a wonderful celebration where we come together to dance, eat, listen and admire each others costumes.
