BARRIOTECA with EL GRAN MONO (melb) A Day to Night Fiesta

A special day to night dance presented by friends Discoteca Tropical and Planet Trip ~ “BARRIOTECCA” will celebrate the sounds of Latin America, the Caribbean and the roots of sound system culture from these regions – Beamed out through @elgranmono.pico Melbourne’s own picó, it’s first time back to Sydney in many years. This amazing sound system is painted by the great Colombian sound system artist  William “El Maestro” Gutierrez and the first of it’s kind in the world to be built outside Colombia

Expect a heavy mix of the cities finest DJs, MCs, dancers and live acts who fly the flag for Cumbia, Salsa Dura, Highlife, Champeta, Reggaeton, Dancehall, Dembow, Zouk, Highlife, deep Brazilian Rhythms and beyond

We will have much loved locals @pochitosydney @maiz_mexican to bring together community with food and music like it should be celebrated, so come hungry!

Desde su última presentación en Kensington St, en Sydney, El Gran Mono regresa desde Melbourne:

Este increíble sistema está pintado por el gran artista colombiano William “El Maestro” Gutiérrez, un reconocido pintor de la región. Además de su increíble look, este sistema nos sumerge con una potencia y un sonido únicos que no te dejarán parar de bailar.

Prepárate para una mezcla de colores, sonidos y sabores con los mejores DJs y bailarines del parche. Ellos traerán los ritmos de la Cumbia, Salsa Dura, Highlife, Soukous, Chámpela, Reguetón, Dancehall, Ddembow, Zouk, los ritmos profundos del Brasil… ¡y mucho más!

Tendremos comida a cargo de Pochitos y Maiz, porque la comunidad se celebra como se debe: ¡con música y comida!
