Barung AGM

The Barung Landcare 2026 AGM will be held at the Maleny Sport and Recreation Centre on Saturday 24th October, 2026. We warmly invite all members, partner organisations and special guests to attend.

Come along to hear an update on what Barung Landcare has achieved in the last year, and our vision looking forward. Also enjoy a talk from our guest speaker, Ollie Scully, from the Mary River Catchment Coordinating Committee. Ollie will discuss threatened upland stream fauna and a new project to assist their recovery.

If you are interested in being more involved in Barung Landcare at the management level, nominations are now open to become an ordinary committee member or an office bearer.

Life Membership Awards - Nominations Open

We will be presenting Life Memberships again at this years AGM. If you wish to nominate someone for a Life Membership, please email Barbara Kelly at president@barunglandcare.org.au, providing the nominee's name, and a sentence explaining why you think they deserve this award.

When: Saturday 24th October 2026

Time: 10.00am - 12.00pm (morning tea available from 9:30am)

Where: Maleny Sport and Recreation Club, Parklands Drive, North Maleny (off Porters Lane).

Additional details: Tea and coffee provided at meeting.

An optional light lunch will be also be provided at the Barung community nursery across the road straight after the meeting (12pm onwards).

All welcome (please indicate your intention to join us when booking for catering purposes).
