Do you want to learn how to promote mental wellbeing and prevent mental health conditions through your workplace or community setting? Prevention United is offering limited places for a free introductory half-day workshop for workers wanting to learn the basic principles and practical skills of mental health promotion that they can apply to their role.

These entry-level, half-day training sessions are suitable for workers who are just beginning a career in mental health promotion, and for workers with another primary role who are supporting the implementation of wellbeing, prevention, and mental health and wellbeing literacy initiatives in community settings such as early childhood services, schools, Neighbourhood Houses, Men’s Sheds, sport and recreation clubs, the arts and workplaces.

  • What works to promote mental wellbeing, prevent mental health conditions, and build mental health and wellbeing literacy?
