Your drop off location is:

Barwon Heads Address:

Barwon Heads Art and Community Garden, 38 Geelong Rd, Barwon Heads VIC 3227, Australia

1. Pick your olives

Grab your friends, family and neighbours, get together to pick local olive trees. Pick no earlier than the 24 hours of dropping them off with us on Sunday 17 May to ensure freshness. Please keep them dry in aerated containers as moisture can lead to them developing mould and then we cannot accept them. Watch the video on how to pick your olives with Vasilli’s Garden first if you’re new to the process.

2. Drop off your olives

Drop off your olives at the reserved location and time.

3. We will weigh and record your quantity of olives

Turn up at your designated time, with your aerated boxes of olives. We will weigh them for you and give you a receipt; this will determine how much oil you will receive. Each year the yield will vary and the oil output will be divided by the percentage of olive contributions made.

4. We have your olives processed into olive oil

We take your olives to our friends at Mt Moriac Olives, who press them into oil to be distributed accordingly between pickers. This process can take up to 4 weeks.

5. Payment for your oil processing

Once pressed, we will let you know the exact cost of the oil processing. Payment will be $12.00 per litre. We will accept cash only on collection.

6. Pick up your olive oil

We will advise you when to collect your oil on the 17th of May when you deliver your olives to us. Be sure to bring a container that is best suited for your total quantity of oil, to save time at collection. You can decant your oil at home into smaller bottles should you wish to do so.

Oil not collected within two weeks of advised date of collection will be donated to Feedme Bellarine.
