About Gwyn the Red Cross First Aid Educator

"I grew up on a dairy farm in Northland (just South of Whangarei) in the 60’s and 70’s. The first aid started as my Dad was a typical old school farmer, and consequently H&S wasn’t at the top of the list – so patch him up to get back to the house. As a young un work on the farm was compulsory so my own share of injuries from back then. Went on to do stints in forestry, Search and Rescue, with St John as a volunteer, an Army medic Territorial. My first aid is just that – the aid before Ambulance and further help arrives. Not necessarily pretty but works" 😊
