Perfect for those who are interested in welding and want to try it out, this half day course allows you to get hands on with the tools and machines.

In this course, you will be introduced to:

· Welding safety

· Cutting and preparing mild steel

· MIG welding techniques: tacking work together and running a weld bead

· Steel clean up and finishing

Morning tea is provided.

What you bring: Yourself.

All tools, materials and safety equipment are included in the registration.

What to wear: long pants, a long sleeved shirt (no synthetic materials, please!) and sturdy closed boots or shoes.

We provide welding helmets, safety glasses, gloves and ear protection.
