Basin Plan Review - Condobolin info session & lunch

Lunch provided.

The Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) invites community members, organisations, businesses, and stakeholders to attend a Basin Plan Review Information Session in Condobolin.

This session will be led by Peter Thomas, Regional Engagement Officer (Lachlan–Macquarie Region), from the MDBA’s Public Affairs Branch, Business Services Division.

Why attend?

The Basin Plan is undergoing a formal review. This consultation is a key opportunity for communities across the Basin to influence how the Plan develops into the future. This event is designed to ensure the Condobolin community is informed, prepared, and supported to take part in that process.

By attending, you will:

-Gain a clear, plain-English overview of the Basin Plan Review and what it means for the region

-Understand how the public consultation process will work in 2026

-Learn how to prepare and lodge a submission — as an individual, business, or community group

-Receive practical guidance and support to make the submission process as simple as possible

-Have the opportunity to ask questions directly to MDBA staff

What the MDBA is asking from you

The MDBA is seeking local knowledge, lived experience, and community perspectives to inform the Basin Plan Review. They are encouraging:

-Individuals and groups to share what matters most in their area

-Feedback on what is working well and what could be improved

-Thoughtful submissions that reflect local priorities and future needs
