Event description

Join Basjia – a queer Black multidisciplinary artist based on Gadigal Land – for a guided movement class rooted in rhythm, breath, and pure expression.

With a deep focus on movement as a tool for liberation, Basjia creates space to explore strength, sensuality, and joy. Her practice celebrates the Black femme body, reclaiming its power and beauty in a colonised world. This class is an invitation to reconnect, and to honour the sacredness of pleasure – especially feminine pleasure – as a radical act.

Expect a guided session that helps free tension, unlock rhythm, and invite you back into your body. No experience is needed – just a willingness to move, breathe, and express freely. Led by a respected mentor in the queer, pole, and ballroom scene, this is a safe and affirming space to explore your sensual self and find power in pleasure.
