This event has passed Get tickets

    Event description

Discover how to transform some of the most common backyard weeds and garden waste into natural fibres for basket making.

In this drop in session with our guest skill sharer Bindi, participants will learn the basics of processing non-native plants that you might otherwise dispose of into usable fibres, and can start or continue their own baskets using the fibres available.

This workshop is tailored to adults. Children 8 years and older are welcome to book in with an accompanying adult.

Our drop in session means you can come for a little while or the whole day, the morning or the afternoon. Past basket making participants are welcome to attend to learn more!

This workshop is free thanks to the support of the City of Hobart.
