Join Wiradjuri artist Elisabeth Blomberg for a serene and immersive basket weaving workshop at The Artisan Shed behind Willa Cafe in Willunga.

This hands-on experience offers a unique opportunity to learn the ancient art of weaving, a deeply meditative and culturally rich practice. Elisabeth will guide you through the process, sharing her knowledge and connection to the land as she teaches traditional techniques passed down through generations of Indigenous artists. Sustainably sourced Madagascan natural and eco-dyed raffia will be used in this workshop. Materials to complete a small basket within class will be included and there will be option to purchase more Raffia at the end of class if you wish to complete a larger basket at home 🫶🏽
