Join us in our first Berri Basketball Carnival on the 20th of April, registrations will be closed on the 10th of April.


This competition is only open to B & C grade players, if you are unsure which division, you are in reach out to your program coordinator. There are limited spots for this competition, we are only bringing 24 athletes (4 teams of 6) to this event and ask that each athlete comes with a support person,

No uniforms are required, athletes must be wearing comfortable athletic shoes and clothes, with their nails trimmed short.

This is a non-sectional event.

Itinerary for those Travelling via bus:

7:15am - Athletes and Supporters are to arrive at Sport SA West Beach for Check-in. Free carparking on site.

7:30am - The bus departs Sport SA.

9:00/9:15am - Bus will stop in Blanche Town for 15min.

10:45 am - Arrival at the Berri Sports Stadium.

10:45am to 12pm - Social get together and Lunch (Bring Your Own Lunch - No Cafe available).

12:00pm to 12:15pm - Teams together and warmups for the first match.

12:15pm to 4:30pm - Game Times.

4:30pm - BBQ and Fairwells.

5:15pm - Athletes and Supporters to meet back at bus.

5:30pm - Bus will depart Berri.

7:00pm/7:15pm - Bus will stop in Blanche Town for 15min.

8:45pm to 9:00pm - Arrive back at SportSA and checkout.

Special Olympics is dedicated to promoting social inclusion through shared sports training and competition experiences and is offering a 1 day basketball competition in Berri.

  • This competition is only available to 2024 fully registered Special Olympics Athletes.
  • If you are a registered member but do not train with Special Olympics please email us on info.sa@specialolympics.com.au before completing a registration.
  • A participant registers as an individual.
  • Athletes are strongly encouraged to have a parent/carer/support worker present and on site during the event. Our sport volunteers will be facilitating the delivery of the event and are therefore unable to be assigned specifically to athletes or be responsible for supervising athletes throughout the event.
  • The event has a maximum capacity and therefore it is encouraged that you book on early to avoid missing out.
