Basketry Looping Workshop with Sally Stoneman

Join acclaimed artist Sally Stoneman for an enjoyable morning learning the wonderful basketry technique of looping. Looping has been used for many thousands of years across cultures and allows you to create versatile and light forms.
No basketry experience is needed for this workshop, and is suitable for anyone older than 12 yrs.
We will be using a paper wire thread to weave around a jar and create a beautiful, looped basket.
You will have made a lovely looped basket by the end of the workshop and be confident in this basketry technique.
All materials supplied; just bring a jar/bowl around 15cm x 6 cm deep.
Please bring a plate of food to share for lunch. Refreshments are provided.
