Bassidi Kone Workshops - Wangaratta

Bassidi Kone is a master djembe player and griot musician from Mali, West Africa. He will be sharing a day of workshops in Wangaratta.

We highly encourage musicians to attend - Bassidi's playing technique and musical feel will inspire you!

OPEN DJEMBE

This is an open djembe workshop catering for all levels of experience (including beginners).

INTERMEDIATE DJEMBE

For those with more djembe playing experience - particularly those who attend our intermediate classes, or percussionists wishing to expand their skills and rhythmic repertoire!

DUNUN

This is an open workshop for anyone wanting to learn dunun - the bass groove of the West African ensemble.
