All are welcome to the 9th edition of BassWitch, as we kick off our third season of bringing forward the best feminine frequencies in the bass realms! We know you’ve been missing that femme bass energy out here this summer!! So let’s bring her back and SLAY this fall! Let’s make it so hot that we’ll forget it’s getting colder. We can use the magic of our bodies and booties to release what no longer serves in order to make room for the most powerful versions of ourselves yet! Stepping forward as the slayer of our own demons, the heroine of our own story. NOW IS YOUR TIME!

We'll see you on the dance floor for this special night of bass soaked dance floor activation, infused with ritual, magic, healing, community, elixirs, divine treats galore, and so much more!!! You can expect epic and fun live & interactive performances throughout the night from our dancers, plus incredible live-painters, as well as a showcase of talented all femme artisans sharing their creations in our witchy nightmarket: clothing, herbals & medicines, jewelry, chocolates, and so much more...plus bodyworkers ready to massage your pains away and nourish your body off the dance floor too.

Did you also know that BassWitch's mission is to not only uplift the best femme artists in the bass scene, but to also give back to organizations that are creating positive change....with that, a portion of proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the mission of New Earth, which provides mentor-based arts, educational, & vocational programs that empower at-promise youth to reimagine their lives, move towards positive life choices, and discover their genius as future leaders of tomorrow.

As always, we have some fire DJS and producers to introduce to you this season. We are thrilled to introduce our BassWitch 9.0 musical artists:

Yoko is a Denver based underground bass music producer whose music transcends dimensions and vividly paints visions of soundscapes accessed only through her unique sonic creations. She strives to recreate the realms that exist in her own mind, and mold them into sonic experiences. Although originally from Tacoma, Washington, the esteemed producer has sculpted her sound from the influences of the Colorado underground scene. The focus of the Denver based Yoko project is to deliver heavy bass with inspiration from areas such as classical and Japanese sci-fi.

DJ Anastasia Lotus, known by her stage name Lotus Drops, describes her genre as “goddess womp” and dubstep. Goddess womp incorporates primordial female vocals with dark, strange flavors, with elements of trap thrown in the mix. After developing her career in San Francisco and beyond, Lotus returned to Bellingham, WA to begin her next chapter as a mother, DJ, Sound Healer, and badass body positive ceremonial tattoo artist (@anastasialotustats).

RËIA is rooted in the rich traditions of the Middle East, RËIA's signature sound is a captivating blend of exotic beats, tribal, middle eastern, and Latin rhythms, all harmoniously converging to create a hypnotic groove with luscious layers of basslines and a dark feminine edge. She sprinkles in elements of hip hop and R&B, adding a modern twist to her sets, making them accessible and relateable to diverse audiences. Her selections are more than just songs; they are chapters in a story that takes her audience on a transformative journey through sound. With each beat and melody, she guides her listeners on a path of self-discovery and emotional exploration, urging them to dive deep into the world of sensation and expression. Currently based in the Bay Area, she is quickly making a name for herself in the West Coast conscious festival and ecstatic dance scenes.

Sheena Medicina has been a lover of music and dancer her entire life. Known for having a vast diversity of musical tastes she aims to get people sweating and moving. Her sets have an organic element that honors the ancient….but don’t be surprised to find exhilarating emotional twists & turns, plenty of sexy dripping bass lines, crowd pleasing booty shakers, remixed classics that everyone knows and loves.Sheena Medicina is Cascadia based female DJ. She is passionate about uplifting more femme identified folks in the music, festival, and ecstatic dance scenes. She is a teacher, event producer, and artist who has been playing all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond for the last decade, and began producing transformational dance focused events in the aftermath of the pandemic.
