A Celebration of Femme Frequencies in the Bass Realms

All are welcome to the 4th edition of BassWitch, where we are bringing forward the best feminine frequencies in the bass realms!
The theme for this season's closing edition of BassWitch is "Hot Nights in the City"....a proper ratchet booty bass throw down! So put your party pants on, or better yet your booty shorts, for this sexy, sparkly & silliest of feminine bass parties where divine play, erotic innocence, consent, and body positivity are to be celebrated to the fullest.
As per usual, we will feature an opening Cacao Ceremony, this time with Teresa Ulrich of Chi Chocolate (http://www.chichocolate.com/) to assist us in activating our hearts to open the container. You can expect epic and fun live & interactive performances throughout the night from our dancers, plus live-painters, as well as a showcase of talented womxn artisans sharing their creations, clothes, herbals & medicines, jewelry, and so much more in our witchy nightmarket...plus bodyworkers ready to massage your pains away and nourish your body off the dance floor too. All this and so much more, with plenty of surprises in store, plus pro sound, visuals, and lighting and a soft studio dance floor too!

This 501c3 non-profit seeks to bridge the gender gap of mental health through advocacy campaigns, research, and funding support for women-led communities. They’re dedicated to powering a world where more women are supported to lead and thrive, with their work focuses on addressing:
-Body & beauty standards commonly touted by a wellness industry driven by perfectionism and control.
-Societal pressures on caregiving and motherhood roles that create impossible ideals & unrealistic expectations.
-Career & leadership roles that women are hindered from due to cultural narratives and biases.
-Workplaces and communities that need to better serve our diverse range of perspectives & cultural differences.

A fan of heavy-hitting bass lines, funky trapical sounds and 🎶 that generally makes you go “damn”, Kelsey aka CHIXY GUAP is a multi-genre DJ who wants to see your booty shake. Since starting her DJ career in 2021, she's already been fortunate enough to play well-known venues across the US and Mexico.
Kelsey brings a unique mix of energy behind the decks, and has a highly intuitive way of keeping the dancefloor bumpin'. Her sets are full of surprises that keep your interest piqued, your neck tingling with excitement, and your booty moving.
Originally from the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota, CHIXY GUAP has been privileged to travel extensively and her selections reflect the wide range of sounds and voices she’s been exposed to. She’s particularly fond of femme-forward rap, music in Spanish and Portuguese, sounds from the African Diaspora and basically anything underground that makes your chest vibrate. She also worked the Amphitheatre Stage at Shambhala Music Festival for several years and witnessed dozens of up-and-coming bass connoisseurs make their debuts.

Mienne has been involved in dance culture for more than a decade. She has always been a performance artist; initially as a belly dancer, her natural sense of movement and rhythm translated gracefully into her journey as a DJ. Her Libran love of balance (and variety!) makes her uniquely adept at setting a sonic scene that elicits journeys across desert tundra, through the expansiveness of space, and SPLAT onto a jiggling subwoofer. Whether it’s G-house or West Coast Bass, you can expect to see smiling faces and feel your booty wiggle.
Says Mienne: "I have one goal: make your booties wiggle til you drip with sweat. If you aren't ready for a rump-shakin' good time, bass beats that make you twerk, disco samples that make you sing along, and a whole lot of smiles, stfu what's that all about? Come see me play anyway."

Naughty Princess

Naughty Princess brings the dance floor heat, weaving beautiful eastern melodies over trap and hip hop beats, and delivers the freshest bass music with her unique style and energetic performance.
Naughty Princess has had a lifelong passion for dance music and started DJing in 2016 with her debut performance on the main stage at the Belasco Theatre LA. Very quickly, she became notorious for her ability to blend orchestral sounds and musical world elements from the east with the fattest of beats and bass drops! The years spent absorbing herself in music all over the world had already shaped her style, so right from the start, her sound was cohesive and distinctive, despite traversing a range of bass music genres. Evocative female vocals soar over rumbling 808s, violins build and crescendo and drop into gangsta beats, delicate sitar leads blend seamlessly into searing electronic riffs, and soon the dance floor is heaving and jumping, and also smiling because Naughty Princess sets are undeniably fun!
One of her main goals is to create that magical dance floor experience where people can really let loose, express themselves, and dance their hearts out! This experience is her biggest joy in life, and she also believes it to be deeply transformation for people to connect with their own inner joy and spark, their body and movement, and the amazing community who come together to share their love of music and get down so hard!
Naughty Princess is also passionate about empowering women in a very male-dominated music industry which has for too long disrespected and objectified women. Girls, in particular, are very excited to see a female DJ who can bring beautiful and feminine sounds into a scene that has been saturated with overly aggressive music, and at the same time have the chops to throw down a set so hard and dirty that everyone is sweating and fist-bumping by the end of the night! Naughty Princess encourages people to embrace their own regal nature, to treat each other like kings and queens, and create a safe place where women can express themselves any way they choose, whether it’s elegantly refined or wildly sensual!

Sass Yer Ass is the dirty side project of DJ Sheena Medicina, otherwise known as Christina Sasser, who has been a lover of music and dancer her entire life. Known for having a vast diversity of musical tastes, from sacred, to sexy, to silly. She aims to get people sweating and moving.
