Bat Chat

Come along to Apex Park in Wangaratta for a dusk walk and talk to learn more about Fruit Bats (Grey-headed Flying Foxes) with local wildlife ecologist Ian Davidson. See how many of these wonderful nocturnal native plant regenerators you can spot as they head out on their nightly travels and hear from locals who are monitoring their numbers. Bring along a picnic if you'd like to have dinner in the park. 

Please wear sturdy footwear and bring your own water bottle and a torch if needed. To protect yourself against mosquitoes cover up with long loose-fitting clothing.
