Environment
Many wild creatures live in Townsend Woods so please leave your dog at home.
The only exception to this is assistance dogs who are very welcome.

Clothing
We always keep all our fingers and toes crossed for good weather however please dress for the unpredictable British weather. In the summer we recommend long sleeved shirts and long trousers as a precaution against ticks. Please check for ticks when you get home and follow the information here: Ticks

It will be cooler in the woods so extra layers are a good idea.
The ground is uneven in places and can be muddy so sturdy footwear is advised.
