Bathurst Original Music Association Showcase - Matthew Williamson and Sidney Speirs

Kicking off the series of BOMA showcase gigs we are featuring local songwriters Matt Williamson and Sidney Speirs.

Matt has been writing songs and a prominent part of the Bathurst music community... forever. Songs about local places, stories and people presented in a mesmerising atmospheric acoustic/folky style. Matt will be joined by Paul McIlwraith on bass and Matt Hale on guitar.

Sidney finished high school last year, and has been writing songs for several years. She has been a regional song contest finalist and participant in APRA songmakers workshops. Sidney's songs paint pictures of life's quiet little moments.

The Bathurst Original Music Association is a recently established group of local musicians with the aim of celebrating and promoting new music.
