Bats & Belonging field visit

The field visit invites people to observe Grey-headed flying-foxes in a safe and educational setting. It begins with a short walking meditation to help everyone arrive, relax, and connect with the place and the animals around them. Experts will share information and personal stories about bats, from ecology to insights on how to care for them. The visit will finish with a simple, beginner-friendly art activity, to encourage slowing down and noticing the bats and their environment. Come observe and appreciate the flying-foxes as part of our shared urban environment.

An email will be sent out a few days prior to the event with exact GPS co-ordinates of meeting point, parking information, and toilet access.
