Bats of Bendigo
Rosalind Park - Pine Lawn
bendigo, australia
Event description
Celebrate International Bat Appreciation Day!
Ever wanted to know more about the bats that live in Bendigo?
Join the City of Greater Bendigo and the Central Victorian Bat Alliance to learn fun facts about our local bats, from the furry, fruit-loving flying foxes in Rosalind Park, to the insect-eating, aerial acrobatic microbats. View the antics of the Grey-headed Flying Foxes hanging in the tree tops through binoculars and there will also be bat-themed arts and crafts activities for the kids.
For all ages.
This is an outdoor event so wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring binoculars if you have them.
