Event description
BACH is hosting a music program for young adults aged 13-25yrs old who live in Donnybrook, Balingup, Kirup, Greenbushes, Bridgetown and Boyup Brook. This is an incredible opportunity for youth in our communities to build and develop their skills as an aspiring musician and performer.
The five successful applicants will be chosen to receive a free professional development session to workshop their original idea and then perform at the Battle of the Bands competition.
The winner/winners on the night will receive a full day in the recording studio with local musician and producer Chris Baker.
We look forward to a great night of local young talent and to build our music community.
The pictured successful finalists have already received a professional development session with experienced
industry professionals in the Balingup Arts and Cultural Hub (BACH) to workshop their original ideas and are now
ready to perform their works for the community at the Battle of the Bands competition on Saturday 16 December 2023
in the Balingup Town Hall (6.00pm-10.00pm).
