Michigan Vs. Washington in the Battle of the Chateaus's, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Michigan Wine and Beer Portal.  Join the fun while exploring Chateau Chantal with Vice President of Hospitality Operations and Distribution Brian Lillie as Michigan pits itself against Chateau Ste. Michelle from the famed State of Washington Wine Region.  The decision will be yours!  Enjoy this guided Battle Tasting with Sommelier Andrew Bentley and enjoy a perfectly pair Charcuterie as you determine the winner of each battle!  Tickets are just $30 per person while supplies last. 

May is Michigan’s Wine Month!  Celebrations start early at the Michigan Wine and Beer Portal!  Tuesday, April 22, 2025, join us for the Battle of the Chateaus featuring Michigan’s very own Chateau Chantal vs. Washington’s Chateau St. Michelle!  Following the Battles, each Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. through May 27th you can Portal with us through Michigan’s five American Viticulture Areas (AVA) and Taste Your Destination !   The Michigan AVA Wine Exploration classes will be from 6-8 p.m. each Tuesday including:  

•   April 22 – Battle of the Chateaus (This Class) - Class 1 of 6
•   April 29 – 1981 Fennville AVA
•       May 6 – 1982 – Leelanau Peninsula AVA 
•       May 13 – 1983 – Lake Michigan Shores AVA
•       May 20 – 1987 – Old Mission Peninsula AVA
•       May 27 – 2016 – Tip of the Mitt AVA
