The Bay of Plenty Young Grower Competition Gala Dinner is a highlight of the local horticultural calendar, providing a fantastic night out in support of young talent.
The dinner includes the competition's final component, a speech contest: this is your chance to hear our young horticulturists share their thoughts on industry-related topics. The awards ceremony is also part of the gala dinner.
Canapés, a three-course meal, and welcome drinks are included in your ticket price.
Jeremy Elwood has been locked in to MC our Awards/Gala Dinner. Jeremy Elwood is a star of the New Zealand stand-up comedy circuit. Combining topical issues, social commentary and political satire, Jeremy has headlined comedy clubs in Australia, Singapore, the UK, Canada, and throughout New Zealand. Jeremy was the former Head Writer on Three's The Project, a regular contributor to Radio New Zealand’s The Panel, and Three’s 7 Days.
