Bayswater Town Centre Branding Project Launch
Event description
We are pleased to invite you and your members to be part of an exciting new initiative for our community: the Bayswater Town Centre Branding Project.
This project will establish a vibrant and cohesive identity for the Bayswater Town Centre, with a focus on the precinct surrounding the train station. Through a grassroots approach, we aim to celebrate what makes Bayswater unique while creating opportunities for businesses, residents, and visitors to thrive. Think of other areas that have given themselves an identifiable name e.g. The Pickle District or Soho.
The Bayswater Traders Association INC (BTA) is leading this initiative, and we believe local non-profit groups like yours are essential to shaping and supporting this vision before it is introduced to the broader community.
We’ll begin by brainstorming ideas together, but the key outcomes of the project will include:
- Selecting options for a new “brand/ district name” for the Bayswater Town Centre, followed by a community voting phase.
- Designing a logo and brand guidelines.
- Setting up social media channels to promote activities, businesses, and local groups in one central place.
To launch the project, we’re hosting an event followed by two roundtable discussions to ensure that community voices and ideas remain at the heart of this effort.
A big thank you goes to the City of Bayswater and Bendigo Bank for providing grants to bring this initiative to life.
At the event, we’ll provide an overview of the project, discuss opportunities for involvement, and outline the upcoming roundtable series, to be held on 18th February and 5th March. It will also be a great opportunity to connect with fellow community members, share ideas, and help shape the future identity/ brand name of the Bayswater Town Centre.
