The Brisbane Basket Brigade is a non-profit organisation that provides food and gifts to families and homeless individuals in need this Christmas.

As part of the Magic Moments Foundations we have delivered hampers to thousands of people at Christmas time since 1995.

In 2019 Brisbane Basket Brigades goals are to deliver:

1000 baskets to Families in Brisbane
220 baskets to Families in Regional QLD affected by the drought
200 homeless baskets for our friends on the street

Can you help us get there? We are looking for approximately 900 volunteers to help with an array of tasks on our Packing Weekend.

Our Packing Weekend is Saturday, 14 December and Sunday, 15 December 2019.

Set Up & Wrapping Day - Saturday 14 December 2019

Set Up & Wrapping Day - Morning Session - 8.30am to 12.30pm ** You can volunteer for both sessions
Set Up & Wraping Day - Afternoon Session - 1pm to 5pm ** You can volunteer for both sessions
Truck Loaders & Unloaders - Start at National Storage Coorparoo and end at CHAC - 8.30am to 11am
Roustabouts - help with unloading Basket Buddies bags & helping set up the CHAC Venue - 8.30am to 4pm
Administration - 8am to 1pm - You will help with registering volunteers and then you can participate in the other Packing Day Activities and deliveries.

Packing Day - Sunday 15 December 2019

Packing Day General plus Deliveries - 8.30am to 3pm (includes 2.5 hours of delivering the Christmas Baskets to our recipients) OR
Packing Day General- 8.30am to 12.30pm (Please only pick one or the other)
Delivery Drivers Only (must have a second person with you for the deliveries) - 2pm to 5pm delivering Christmasy Baskets
Dispatch Coordinators - 8.30am to 3pm. This is a critical role but is necessary in order to make the day run smoothly! You can still participate in the other Packing Day Activities but we need you to be dedicated to the Dispatch Crew (from 11am to 3pm) in making sure our delivery process goes quickly and smoothly. You can also deliver baskets after. We will set these aside
Administration - 8am to 1pm - You will help with registering volunteers and then you can participate in the other Packing Day Activities and deliveries.

Volunteers can register for both days.

Volunteers must accept the Terms & Conditions to participate.
