Event description
BBP is proud to usher in the new year with the first in-person BBP Business Meet-up event for 2022 on Wednesday 16 February at the Coal Loader in Waverton. This promises to be a fantastic business networking event for you to make long lasting connections in the local sustainable business network.
In keeping with BBP’s focus on sustainability, we are holding this at North Sydney’s jewel Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability and an all sustainable line-up of catering, entertainment.
This is an outdoor event at which all COVID-safe precautions will be followed. QR check-in and social distancing measures will be in place and we recommend our guests take a Rapid Antigen Test before attending if you are experiencing any COVID symptoms. If you are feeling unwell, test positive or become a close contact and do not attend, a full refund will be given under these circumstances upon demonstration of such.
Our MC Joanne Taranto
Our MC and guest speaker is Joanne Taranto from Good For the Hood. You may recognise Jo from War on Waste, and she has become well-known as a local sustainability heroine who inspires and teaches us how to initiate lasting community change for the better. Jo will be our chief ringleader for the night and will inspire us on how to incorporate small sustainable changes into our lives and workplaces.
Entertainment
We will be entertained with some cool laid-back tunes from Kristen Fletcher, local music studio owner and BBP member Studio K.
